ANSI/ASSP Z359.14-2021 went into effect on August 1, 2023. ANSI issued this high safety standard to better ensure workplace fall protection. All organizations with voluntary or mandatory ANSI compliance need self retracting lifelines (SRLs) certified Z359.14-2021-compliant. A Class 1 SRL anchors at or above the dorsal D-ring but is not leading edge rated. Every FallTech Class 1 SRL has a Declaration of Conformity (DOC).
