Ladder Stanchion Anchors

PRESS RELEASE

JULY, 2020

July 2020 Compton, California – FallTech®, an original equipment manufacturer of fall protection safety products, announces the introduction of its new Ladder Stanchion Anchors product offering.

The new Ladder Stanchion Anchors enable businesses to meet the requirements of OSHA's final rule on general industry walking-working surface and fall protection standards. These products will satisfy the fall protection requirements for ladders over 24 long, but can be used for any ladder at height.

Ladder Stanchion Anchors are for permanent installation onto fixed ladders of various types and sizes, such as those attached outside or inside commercial and industrial buildings and structures. For excellent outdoor performance, the powder-coated over galvanized finish assures many years of corrosion-free use. 5 feet and 10 feet post heights provide overhead anchorage points for leading up to or extending past a walk-working surface.

The Ladder Stanchion Anchor is attached to the top rungs of a ladder. The top of the Ladder Stanchion has an anchor point designed for an SRL (self-retracting lifeline) attachment. The SRL is then attached to a person wearing a Fall Protection Full Body Harness. This person can then ascend or descend the stairs while adequately connected to a fall protection system.

FallTech offers a complete range of DuraTech® and Contractor series SRLs with multiple lengths for use with the Ladder Stanchion Anchors of varying lengths. When used in conjunction with the 7276100 Contractor SRL, it can accommodate a ladder of up to 100 feet in length.
