To extend its comfort, FallTech invented EdgeCore™ synthetic lifeline that delivers leading edge lifeline protection while reducing weight by 40% compared to 3/16” steel cable typically used for SRL-P’s. With this significant weight savings, no more sore shoulders or lower back at the end of a workday.
Moreover, SpeedLink™, an industry first, permits field replacement of an 8' FT-X™ EdgeCore™ twin retractable if it does not pass inspection before use. No longer will a leading-edge SRL-P have to be replaced when only the retractable fails inspection. With SpeedLink™, you just replace the retractable saving valuable time and expense. As a result, the FT-X™ will offer the lowest total cost of ownership of any Class 2 Leading Edge SRL-P.
